About me
I spent seven years inside health and wellness tech as a Lead Motion Designer, four at Mindbody and three at Lyra Health. I directed shoots, built stage design for conferences, animated UI for onboarding videos, and made the kind of product explainers that actually get watched. The thing about working inside those companies for that long: you stop being just the motion guy. You become the bridge between product, brand, and story. You learn how to translate something complicated into something a person actually feels.
That's the gap Numoon is built for.
Most agencies hand you a producer, then a project manager, then maybe a designer, then an animator. Each handoff loses something. The brief gets diluted, the timeline stretches, the price climbs. You end up paying for the overhead more than the work.
With me, there is no middle. You get the same person on the kickoff call, in the storyboard, behind the keyboard in After Effects, and in the final color pass. I do the strategy, the design, the animation, the edit. Direct access at every stage. Faster turnarounds because nothing is waiting on someone else's calendar.
Right now I work with health tech, wellness brands, and retreat-adjacent businesses. My background gives me the chops for SaaS and product work, and my personal life (Guatemala, plant medicine, sound healing) gives me the language for the brands serving practitioners and healers. That overlap is rare, and it's where I do my best work.
